Dave has been sick for over a week. Since we don't currently have health insurance, he put off going to the doctor for several days. When he finally did go, the doctor took one look in his ear and said, "Yikes." Now he's on antibiotics for his ear and eye infections. Luckily, the eye infection is starting to clear up so that he can help out with Eddie again. Up until yesterday, I wouldn't allow Dave to touch Eddie because I did not want to have to deal with a baby with pink eye.
Since Dave has been out of commission for a week, that means that I have had to be in charge of Eddie 24 hours a day. Those of you who know me well know that I am not blessed with much patience... so it has been a trying week for all of us. It is a good thing that Eddie is so darn cute or I probably would've pulled all my hair out. He knows how to drive me absolutely crazy, but then he'll give me a smile and remind me why I got myself into this in the first place.
