As promised, we have captured Eddie saying a whole bunch of his words on video. The finished 3 minute product took probably an hour or so of combined filming on two different days, then another few hours to sort through the rough footage and dig out the coherent words. Hopefully it was worth it.

Nice. Edward speaks very clearly.. most of those I would have understood even without the title. What about "light"?
I can't believe we forgot "light!" That is one of his most frequently used words. I also realized later that we should have included "tree" because it sounds like, "please." And "let go" is a good one because he always says it so sternly.

Awesome. Have you noticed Grammy sounds a little like Manny? And is crock pot really that common of a word in your house?
Amazing.
Yes, Grammy sounds like Manny... but at least he says it! It took a while to get that one. And no, we don't use the crock pot very often. It only took one usage, which Eddie was very interested in... saying, "whazzat?" so many times. Since that day, every large kitchen container has been a crock pot.
