Today while I was contemplating a solo trip to the library, I decided it might be time to get the leash out of the closet so that Eddie could get used to it. More and more, Eddie insists on walking instead of riding in the stroller. So I can either let him out of the stroller and chase him everywhere, or I can leave him in the stroller and listen to his screams of agony. I am hoping the leash will provide a mutually agreeable solution.

Here is Eddie trying on his new puppy "backpack." The only problem I see with it so far is that he wants to hug and kiss the puppy, which is difficult when it is riding on his back.

Oh Krissy, that is so funny. I am so happy I am not the only parent who has come to terms w/ the leash. I felt the same way, and then I had Colton, very energetic and runs wherever he goes Colton. You should have seen me at Lagoon. People just laughed, and yet it was a lifesaver. I am grateful for the invention. :D
LOL! Well... sorry to give you a gift you felt was.. inhumane? hahaha.. but, with my daughter it saved her life. Not that she was almost kidnapped or anything but it saved ME from committing the crime! :)She loved her backpack and always told me to hold the tail. I hope Eddie and you can come to an understanding with it!
I whole heartedly love the monkey leash we have and I don't yet have a use for it. How perfect that she gave Eddie a "pup."
